Dear Worshipful Brother Secretary,
The new Gift Aid Envelopes and Gift Aid Listing Sheet (GALS) will come into use on the 1st September 2018.
Envelopes and forms are available from your District Charity Committee. Alternatively, the GALS form may be downloaded from the Provincial Grand Lodge web site under the Charities Section. This would be the preferred option.
District Charity Committees will be holding presentations in the months of September to November to assist the Lodge Steward of Charities and Lodge Almoners in the completion and understanding of these forms.
I would strongly recommend that the Charity Officers, and anyone interested in Charity work, attend these presentations. If, however they are unable to attend their own District Committee in these months they will be made most welcome at any of the other Committees (see overleaf).
From 1st September all unused Gift Aid envelopes and paperwork with Pin Numbers etc… must be returned to the District Charity Committees.
Any collections made by Lodges using the old envelopes, prior to 1st September 2018, will be honoured and claimed by your District Charity Committee.
