Joining  The  Order

We are always delighted when a potential member approaches us for more information. The process of joining a Masonic Lodge is relatively simple, if lengthy, for those who qualify.

The qualifications are straight forward. An applicant must be aged 21 or over, believed to be of good character and respected in his area of residence. Membership is open to all religions, but an applicant must hold a belief in the existence of a Supreme Being.

An applicant with these 'qualifications' has then the firm foundation on which, as a member, he can go forward and build his Masonic life to the benefit of himself and others.

The Grand Lodge of Ireland has produced a number of leaflets regarding the Order and membership. Most topics are dealt with on the pdf files below. Please click the links and save these files for future study. Each opens in a seperate window/tab.
